She loves her.
He loves him.
Every day they face vulgar slurs
Pushing them further to the brim.

Their critics are fueled by hate
And their belief in sin
They're a thousand pound weight
Destroying others from within.

Practice what you preach
Aren't you supposed to "love thy neighbor"?
Hush your horrid hate speech
Stop trying to be a divine crusader.

She is your sister, your best friend
He is your brother, your ally
When will the loathing end?
You are destroying lives; but why?

Is it "in the name of god"?
Is it because you really don't know love?
It is you that is flawed
Your resentment is what you should be ashamed of.

They are human, like you
Excluding the ill will.
You do this, not knowing what they go through
At the cost of your so-called "good will".

Keep your mouth shut
This is not your place; not anyone's place.
Stop peddling your false, hateful smut
Your devout malice towards love is the disgrace.

One day, those lovers holding hands
Will be united
Against your heinous demands
Your hatred; unseen, disregarded, and unrequited.
