Geocaching is such a pleasure

A friend told me about this along time ago
It was new to me
I’d never heard of it you know

So I downloaded the app
On my smart iphone
Then with pen & paper
I set off on my own

Now before this caching
I’d never strolled very far
Well not using my feet
I had always used my car

But since this great hobby
I have rambled many miles
Having hunted for caches
Giving me lots of smiles

My hubby & my grandaughter
Sometimes accompanies me
We follow the app on my phone
Wandering where the cache is going to be

I have found over 700 caches
Hiding a few where I live
Its so much fun
With the excitement it does give

Every holiday we travel to
Infact anywhere at all
Even in your local town
It can be behind a garden wall

I always make a point of conquering a few
It uncovers brilliant walks
Sets challenges for you

I have found caches in Iceland,
Jersey, France & Spain
Theres thousands more in these 
Countries 
So I would visit them again

If the weather is right
Especially if it is a sunny day
I will pack my picnic
Then I’m on my way

The app is fantastic
It even gives you a clue
When you’ve got to the location
So it makes it easy & fun for you
