YEARNING FOR YOUR LOVE

It was just after midnight
My mind wouldn't rest
Love filled thoughts
Were racing through my head
Rain was pattering on the windows
And my heart was pounding
Through my chest
I roll over
Wishing you were next to me
With your breath on my neck
Could I keep myself in check...?
Then my heart beats stronger
I can't last any longer...
My thoughts begin to stray
I imagine your touch in every way
And my body tingles
As I'm filled with lust
More than a flesh wound
My love cuts deep
I'm unable to sleep
Thinking to myself...
How do I survive this week?
I need a sneak peak..!
Then my mind drifts again...
Having you in my arms
I dream of your caress
Stroking my chest
As I touch your breast
I feel totally weak
As my hand takes control
My apologies love
It's my hand.
Not my soul.
I must confess
It wasn't the best
And the affair is over
Putting my hand to rest.

A very highly romantic poem.
Nice to see you writing again Andrew...Your writing shows it comes from a deep place in your heart.
I loved the ending ...Showed us just a taste of your personality....A bit cheeky me thinks..Hehe
