Poem -

Yellow

Harbinger of the spring,
flowering of new life and hope;
daffodil, head humbly hanging,
swaying with the wild west wind;
primrose, pale cheeks meekly peeking
from its cloak of green on the mossy slope;
crocus, fingers cupped ready, awaiting
rays of sunshine and the showery rain;
gorse, arms prickly as the cruel thorns crowning
the Son of God who died and rose again.
