Yes I Stole a Gideon's Bible

Yes I Stole a Gideon's Bible

Yes, I stole a Gideon's Bible from my room at a casino hotel
I admit it, I was broke when I did it, then I took a fast train home
Yes I stole a Gideon's Bible and I read it and I realized why it's there
To tell me that I was forgiven, in other words, there is someone who cares

Yes I stole a Gideon's Bible, if I have the chance I'd do it all again
I'd spread His word, it must be heard, to a family member or a friend
Yes I stole a Gideon's Bible most of you don't even know it's there
And ever since I did, I'm smiling, all my sins have vanished in thin air

Hello Chaz!! What an incredible story telling piece of writing. I absolutely loved it especially the final end part making it completely ok to have stolen it with no sins left as a result! Brilliant.
Liked stars ⭐ and of course pinned!!
