Poem -

Yesterday.

Yesterday.

I was sitting lost in memory

The salt burning in my eyes like so many time before

I keep coming back to this place, just...staring...

Not knowing what I'm looking for

My heart speaks firm, but with gentle empathy;

Stop waiting for Yesterday to come!

What you do to me is not fair...

It's not fair

I can't take much more can't you see?

The colour has been seeping out of me

Hurt is like cement to a Heart,

and I am suffocating in its grey.
