Yesterdays footprints 💕

Yesterdays footprints 💕

People will come and then they will go

Just like those scatterings of sand with the wild winds that blustery blow

Where those sinking footprints that strolled on the beach

Listened to Seagulls with a squawk and a screech

And that ferocious force that flows to the shore

Will smother those footprints with water galore

So yesterdays stories have washed away with the tide

When those feet sank in the sand walking at the seaside

And that tempest tide that flows in and ebbs back out

Will wash away yesterdays footprints without a shadow of a doubt…
