You

You

You love pizza even though you can’t stand cheese
You drink beer even you hate it just to fit in,
Your ice cream tshirt is the only thing I can sleep in
Your terrified of teaching your sister the birds and the bees
When I’m stressed I just imagine your hair in the breeze
You turn me on when you stroke my skin
We bicker over who’s going to take out the bins
But without your warmth beside me in bed I freeze

You cannot start your day without biscuits and tea
Our late-night conversations are what keep me sane
You aren’t scared of committing to a future with me
The thought of your parent’s divorce, gives you nothing but pain
You’ve been supportive since the day I left for a degree
Darling your love gives me the confidence to dance in the rain
