This Is For You

To the girl who is looking in the mirror
Hating everything about herself
This is for you

To the boy who is hunched over the toilet
Willing the last of his food to come up
This is for you

To the girl with the razor blade between her fingers
Praying for the willpower to go a little deeper this time
This is for you

To the boy with the rope around his neck
Getting ready to step off the chair
This is for you

To the girl whose ribs are beginning to disappear
And who continues to put on the pounds
This is for you

To the boy who cleans his plate
And doesn’t go straight to the bathroom
This is for you

To the girl with the scars on her wrists
And the butterflies, too
This is for you

To the boy with the burn around his neck
And the air in his lungs
This is for you

To those who feel worthless
Unloved
Or even hated

To those who are alone
Afraid
Or even terrified

To those who are faking smiles
Hiding unshed tears
And tugging on their clothes

This is for you
Because you’re worth it
You’re worth everything

You are worth life
Happiness
Self confidence

This is for you
Because you don’t know
How much I love you

Hello,

very good writing , reflects a personal tone, nostalgic because not getting what you expect.,I'm not sure how much i am right,

It definitely has a personal tone, though I'm not sure how nostalgic it is. Thanks, though!

I'm sorry. If you need anyone to talk to, I'm here. Recovery is a b**ch, but I believe that it's all worth it in the end.
