Poem -

You

I walk these halls,

Mostly alone, sometimes in the presence of friends,

I see you and hope that you look at me,
You don't,

I keep walking,

I want you, I want your attention.

But I, I am better than that,

I don't want to hurt.

Your lips are still ringing in my mind, I can still taste you

I can still feel you, the way you held me, the way you looked at me.

But I can also still feel the pain you put me
through,
The pressure,
The Heartache,

But why?

Why did I look your way?

Why did you look back?
