You are light

In a cold, dark and evil world,

let your light shine to expose 

all evil deeds.

You are light in a dark world,

let your light shine before all

men to show you are a child of

God.

You was once darkness, corrupt

in all your ways but God has taken

you out of darkness and put you

​in his marvelous light.

You are light in dark world like a 

bright star that twinkles in a dark

sky.

You are light in a dark world, 

displaying the beauty of Christ,

reaching out to the lost, abused,

and confused.

Showing love, moving with 

compassion, flowing with mercy

because you are light.

Sharing with the poor, comforting

the broken hearten,filled with 

forgiveness, praying for the sick

because you are light.

Visiting the prisoners, feeding the

hungry, clothing the poor, living 

with kindness because you are

light.
