You are a queen

Thot, hoe, whore.

All words used to describe the young women of this generation, and they seem to have accepted these as terms of endearment the way a child accepts their punishment after breaking mommy's rules. It seems to me that they have forgotten that they are queens. Queens who don't have to be subjected to being misused or verbally abused. Queens who don't have to be the " Miss. Right now" or the "one night stander" who shouldn't have to lay her morals down by the riverside in order to be accepted for who she really is, a queen.

A women of standards and self worth. A women who can walk through a flame and come out un-burnt. Not always certain but always hopeful so when she realizes her friend is not a friend and her man is not a man she can really be on to the next one never letting anyone tarnish her crown, for she is a queen.

And no one can tell her otherwise and she does not believe in color lines, unable and unwilling to be defined as anything short of a godess. And when people throw sticks and stones and tell her that her worth is not that of royalty, she will look at them and say "Who me? It can't be because I am queen. I am fierce and not to be toyed with. I stand for something that's worth more than a pair of jordans" And she will mean it because she has no other choice but to.

So, attention my Queens, age, race, religion, color, none of it matters. You can only be a queen if you feel it within. Let you crown be your brain, and you riches be your faith. Let your wealth be your dreams and you royal court be your grace. You are a queen and don't let anyone tell you different.  Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
