or
the alleged Russian Collusion
we are told we can't
handle the
truth?
Why Is it
that we
as Americans
have been groomed
from day one
of our lives
to believe
that we
as a nation
are never wrong
we are the Heroes
our intentions
are for
the greater
good
Why is it?
Why is it
that our
society
appears lately
to be
just
livestock
in a barn
with the pigs standing
over us in the Farmer's
clothes
telling us don't worry
Comrade you can't
handle the truth....
Why is it
I as a writer
feel that one
day soon
that I and other
poets
like
me
will have our
ink taken
from us
because we can't handle
the truth.
