Poem -

You can’t buy happiness

You can’t buy happiness

The day you walked in,
You managed to steal me from him,
Now you’re both gone,Β
And you’re expecting me to feel none,

I tell myself I can’t do this anymore,
Even tho I try to ignore,
I see you with her,
But you’ll never be like we were,

You had the key,Β
The key to my heart,
But you played me,Β
You’ve torn my soul apart.

You told me I’m yours,
But loved her behind my back,
Darling happiness isn’t something you buy at stores,
You can’t just take me from my happiness and give me a heart attack.Β
