Poem -

In You I Find My Rest

All day long I toil and labor
In this world hoping to find favor
This work you see can not gain me
The rest I seek and your perfect peace
The only thing that I know of
Is your living word and perfect love
I find this in a quite place
This is where I seek your face
When I put you first in my thoughts
And rest in your holy sabbath day
My peace returns like a flood
And then my troubles turn and run
Because my mind is stayed on you
In your perfect rest I am renewed
Even my thoughts becomes refreshed
The moment that I truly believe
In all the promises you've given me
