You said I love you without a sound

You said I love you without a sound

I looked into your eyes,
you were beautiful ,
the stars twinkled in them
and there was a smile on your face,Ā
this was no valentines dinnerĀ
or someĀ  romantic weekend away,Ā
we were not even holding hands
although we were standing close together,
it was just so simple,
such an average day,
I stood there looking at you,
you looked back at me
and you said I love you without a sound.
