You see life is.....

You see life is a basket left unwoven
A single star in the night sky 
Only that's a cloud and it's high noon
Life is…..well life is unexpected 
It's a chain of unending depression 
It's also a beautiful double helix
It's also you
You see 
My mind tells me your unworthy 
Of what the heart desires 
My heart begins to flutter as she walks by again 
In awe as our eyes meet and I, cover my face again
And I remember it's a dream, as I'm stuck to my bed
Paralyzed, tears streaming down my face
As I realize this happens too often
You see we can only perceive so much
With our hearts interlocked and our fingers entwined 
We are truly whole
