Poem -

You Were

Losing you is like waiting for a rainbow after a long storm,
I can't seem to find happiness after a period of sadness,
I loose sleep waiting for you to show up,
I loose hope,

You were my reason to live,
You were my rainbow,
Now you're my almost lover,
My reason to leave,

The elucidations of my mind are dark,
My heart is lost in my scary soul,
Smile carved into my droopy cheeks,
Pretending I'm okay,

The sick images fill my mind,
The words ambush my thoughts,
My mind is turned over by the words of discouragement,
How does it feel to make someone feel so unhappy?

I think that this piece is really great. So full of emotion and I love the opening line. Great stuff! :)
