You who stood before your father’s eyes,

Would never be caught in such a lie.

You who stood before your father’s eyes, 

Would never be thought of so wise.

You who stood before your father’s eyes, 

Would never be despised.

But you who stood before your father’s eyes,

Now lies, twenty feet up high.
