YOUNG AGAIN

YOUNG AGAIN

I wish that we, were young once more
When hearts were kind and oh so pure

When innocence made, us all believe
That we had no bias’s, up our sleeve

Before the world, infected our brains
So common sense no longer reigns

When we could always, get along
Without jealousy or greed, to set us wrong

When, what we said, is what we meant
No hidden meaning, to our intent

When our discoveries, were fresh and new
And when our hearts, were pure and true

We were unique, meant to explore
Discovered love and much, much more

When in our hearts, we always knew
Exactly what, we had to do
