YOUNG IDEALISTS

Listen to the young idealists when they speak
Putting the world to rights at least once a week
Expressive with hands to get their view across
Everyone is equal standing and no-one is a boss

These young idealists are crying out for change
Dressed all in black to some maybe strange
Action needs to be taken is what they all say
Will stop at nothing should it get in the way

I was once a young idealist many years ago
It was late sixties should you want to know
Nobody listened and the world goes on spinning
Losers still losing and winners keep on winning
