Late last evening I said a prayer in her name 
Walking endlessly through darkness playing life as a game 
Life is too fragile, yet we play on dangerous grounds 
Ignoring all the ups but dwelling on the downs 
I know for a fact she is in a better place 
No prejudices, gender, religion or race 
I know it feels weird I know your empty inside 
I just want you to know this night I cried 
I felt your pain the air escaped my chest 
I am so worn out but tonight I won't rest 
This happened for a reason deep down you know it's true 
You could roll over and die, but that isn't what you'll do 
You'll take this as a lesson and change your evil ways 
Your angel is by your side and she'll lift you out of this maze 
You think you're all alone but you're being carried in her arms 
She sacrificed her life, taking on all of your harms...
