Your Golden Anniversary

Your Golden Anniversary

Fifty years you've shared together
A love that has stood, all kinds of weather
There's been nights you snuggled, to keep each other warm
And nights you held one another, thru many storms

I'm sure you've had, your ups & downs
And shared your smiles, even your frowns
No marriage goes, without heartache and pain
But, you've shown by working it out, there's much you'll gain

You've had your children, who are now grown
And they have children,  of their very own
As husband and wife, you became mom and dad
With a family that loves you, for this I am glad

I applaud you both,  it's been fifty years
You've concord your worries, and faced your fears
So on this golden anniversary day
It's my honor to say, CONGRATULATION
On your 50th Golden Day
