Seems you were always my best friend
Why did those summer days have to end?
 
Now you are gone to the skies above
Hope you go in peace and in love
 
By the night skies from me you were taken
Your loving memory won’t be forsaken
 
I have a world of memories thanks to you
And I know that your heart was forever true
 
When it rains I will imagine it is your tears
It is so hard to say goodbye to all those years
 
And when the glorious chooses to sun shine
Know that forever you are in this heart of mine
 
Night after night I cry myself to sleep
Our shared secrets forever I will keep
 
I shall scatter your ashes upon holy ground
You once felt lost but now your soul is found
 
You found a home in that mansion in the sky
