Your Song (My Version)

Your Song (My Version)

It’s a little unfair
That I can no longer share
My life with you because you’re no longer there.
If only I were a millionaire
I’d buy everything in sight
And I would have you to hold every single night.
If I was a priest or doctor but then again no
Because it would be so hard to watch good people go.
I know I’m not successful but it’s the best I can do.
My talent is writing and this song is for you!
And you can tell the whole world, this is your song.
They might really hate it or they might sing along.
I hope it’s okay, I hope it’s okay....
That I put down in words
How lonely my life is and how much everything hurts.

I’m laying in darkness
While I get this off my chest
I want you to know you were the only good thing I had left.
I can’t ever get any rest
So I’m writing this song.
I hope people turn it on and feel better if something’s wrong.
You I’m never forgetting, I’ll hold on to you.
Like the color of your beautiful eyes they’re ocean blue!
Anyways, after everything I’ve seen and  been through.
I can’t believe you’re gone, it makes me want to scream out for you.
And you can tell the whole world, this is your song.
They might really hate it or they might sing along.
I hope it’s okay, I hope it’s okay....
That I put down in words
How lonely my life is and how much everything hurts.
I hope it’s okay, I hope it’s okay....
That I put down in words
How lonely my life is and how much everything hurts.
