Your words

“Ill protect all of you”
Do you mean me too?
“No one set a finger on them”
You talk like I´m a precious gem
I look at my reflection
I think of your words of protection
You couldn’t have meant me
I mean anyone can see
I´m not a gem at all
Just a normal brick in a wall
Boring and plain
I guess I wasn’t sane
When I thought I was included
Now I know I am not suited
For the words from your heart
For I am no priceless art
Still I listen to your words
And every time it hurts
