Zen Hunting

Zen Hunting

Having failed to obtain enlightenment
in more conventional ways …
The once observant Buddhist monk
chose to discard those
spice fragranced robes, to disregard
all the frowns and pointing fingers
and take up hunting …
Thereafter, in his quest for seemingly
even more elusive pleasures
He wandered aimlessly, until by chance
in the guise of a wandering fish monger
He stumbled upon an aesthetically pleasing
graduate of similar and a significantly
satisfying disposition …
Whereupon he settled down and grew more
accustomed to a life of domesticated bliss ...
