Zombied
Eighty-Four Pins is my first collection of Poetry available now! Order on www.amazon.co.uk

Here they sit,
Night after night,
Here they sit,
Not moving left,
Not moving right,
Two people,
That ran out of steam along time ago,
That ran out of their dreams,
With no conversation let to flow,
With no words left to take flight,
So they sit in silence night after night,
In a room thatβs caving in,
Caving out,
Once passions burnt hot like the sun,
What was once has all gone,
Leaving two people hollow inside,
Two people that have died a long time ago,
But never let the other one know,
So here they sit night after night,
Not moving left,
Not moving right,
Looking straight ahead,
Not looking behind,
Worried what they may find,
A corpse,
A shell,
Two people wasted away,
Zombied to the bone,
Both cannot live together,
Both afraid of living alone.

Wow brilliantly written!!
This is so sad. I am sure there are a great many people out there that feel like this....and it is such a shame. Where once burned a torch for love there surely should be some way of reigniting the flame.Β Great write, Sarfraz x

Another cracking write Sarfraz...I think many relationships are 'zombied' but then I'm a pessimist...hugs ?
