Zoom up to the moon

On the twelfth of never I shall travel to the moon
Coz I am very clever I will pilot a balloon
I am taking off in Tokyo and rising high into the heavens
Scientists baffled by my mission are at all sixes and sevens
They say it all sounds stupid
just pie in the sky
but I will get the last laugh after I’ve waved them goodbye

My cousin Claire did the same some years ago
Mind you I was the only one who knew coz she never told a soul
She is still up there yet living with an Alien
before she moved to the moon
She was married to a Ukrainian
Well she blew her big blue balloon up and slid herself inside it’s neck
away she went with her phone thinking “What the heck”

So about a week later well I get this call
telling me shes landed on the moon having an absolute ball
Martians with UFO’s made her as welcome as can be
Her and the Alien have a family
So I’ve packed my cases and they are in my balloon
On the twelfth of never I zoom up to the moon
