The wind pummeled the trees relentlessly, trying to push them off the Earth. The water soaked into the core of everything. Adding weight. Hundreds of feet above, wooden towers swayed like long grass. What sound does a tree make when it falls? None. Not until it hits the ground. Terrifyingly quickly and quietly.
