A Depressing State of Mind-renewed version

On the outside Sarah was an average teenager with medium length black hair, blue eyes with school grades at an average level. On the inside though she was a total mess with emotions all mixed up and voices constantly telling her terrible things about herself and those close to her. Eventually Sarah was driven into depression. For years she tried to hide her emotions from her friends and family by bottling them all up. She would just push friends away whenever they started to notice anything and Sarah was soon without friends.
Several years later Sarah's depression was revealed and she didn't like it. Her feelings turned into anger and and Sarah soon found herself living on the streets with nothing but Centrelink payments to survive. After a few months on the street Sarah found that her depression starting to come on again and the voices were as bad as ever they were now tell Sarah that she should just end it all and commit suicide. The more she fought against the voices the more louder and appealing they became. Sarah knew now that she needed help.

Sarah had been on the streets and her mental and physical State was only getting worse. It was about eight o'clock on a cold winters night when Sarah met the man who would change her life forever. A storm was coming in that night and Sarah had taken shelter in an outdoor car park outside the shopping centre and was setting us to get some rest. As she lay down Sarah watched cautiously as a man with what looked like a cup of soup and a soft blanket walked towards her then sat down next to her.
"Hello my name is Markus, I see you out her often what is your name?" The man asked as he place the soup in front of Sarah and put the blanket over her as she sat up.
"My name is Sarah" replied Sarah picking up the cup to look inside noticing it was pumpkin soup.
"How long have you been out here Sarah?" Markus asked as Sarah finished off the soup.
"About a year and a half now, why" said Sarah placing the cup down "thank you I needed that"
"Sarah this storm is not far off now would you like to back with me to my caravan tonight and you can tell me your story?" Markus asked Sarah.
Sarah thought about it wondering if she should take the risk or not. The thought of proper shelter did sound appealing.
"Ok I'll come" answered Sarah deciding she had nothing to lose anyway.
"Great my caravan isn't far away hopefully we can make it in time" he said as he got up and helped Sarah to her feet.
After reaching Markus's caravan before the storm hit Markus cooked up some eggs and toast for Sarah as she sat at the table and waited patiently. Soon he was done and placed the meal in front of Sarah. They talked most of the night about how Sarah had ended up on the streets and about the depression she was going through.
"You know Sarah there are a lot of places that can help you with a lot of these things" Markus told Sarah when she had finished "I would be willing to offer you shelter here with me whilst you get the help you need but you would need to commit to these things"
Sarah was excited about the opportunity of starting over with this man. He seemed to actually want to help her.
"I will I promise" Sarah promised Markus
"That's good to hear, now I think it's time you got some rest I'll get you a pillow and some warm blankets" said Markus as he got up "we can talk some more in the morning"

It has been almost six months since Sarah met Markus and they were now great friends. They had moved into a good sized apartment, Sarah was now doing a course at Tafe studying hospitality and her depression was almost gone. Sarah had no intention of looking back now.
