A letter from a doctor's desk...

Dear people, 
            It has been a year since we all are fighting against this Coronavirus. During the first lockdown event, spending time with family, working from home, and video calling our loved ones had become a daily routine. 
         But, through the imposition of lockdown in 2020  people were still getting infected with the viral evil, and many lost their loved ones. 
     This virus doesn't care if you are a good person by heart or a kind person by your actions. Whether you are a person with some criminal charges or one who is willing to help society in every possible way.
             Once you get infected, you have requested to self-quarantine yourself along with the people you came in contact with for at least 14 days. The virus particles are highly active in these two weeks of time. Further, the doctors will also check your health, monitor you, and observe you each second until one completely recovers. 
         So, why not people do follow another lockdown in 2021? Is it that bad staying home? "I too wish to stay close to my family, but as duty comes first for us - 'the frontline health workers'!" 
           It's a sincere request from a doctor's desk, please stay home for the coming weeks or until the pandemic situation of our country gets back to a straight curve. 
             The curve is gradually increasing day after day. People need to get admitted to the hospitals and gradually the stock of oxygen, beds, and medicines are depleting. 
              Just a final question then I will leave for my daily hospital rounds... "Why is it so necessary for people who are going out, unless it is very crucial; essential,
or of some medical emergency?"
