Story -

A King

A King

Its been twenty-five years,
Since I last saw you...

Burial mask,
Security,
In a box!

You never reached,
Your full potential,
Died so young,
Coincidental?

Ideas you had,
You took straight,
To your grave.

The other kings,
Fulfilled their dreams,
I wonder what,
Could have been...

Tutankhamen,
The Egyptian,
King.

What have they done?
You your family!

On display,

Betrayed!

Your people,
Paying money,
To see your mask,
To see your mummys !

Living off,
Your treasure!
Paying pounds,
for their pleasure.

Farewell old friend.
For another few years...

Ill be back,
To the museum,
To help wipe,
Those tears. :(
