Part 1. The Smitten outcast
"You caused my feelings to fleet, my heart skipped a beat, on the day I laid eyes on you. My brain didn't think, I slept not a wink, when I learnt that you loved me too. Now a storm in my heart, has torn my feelings apart. Since you left me alone.
I'm no longer a King, I never gave you a ring, for you to share on my throne. I am not the same man, without your dear hand, now my feelings are stone.I'll never forget you as long as I live, for now my heart has no happy home."
Part 2. The Princess.
"My knight has now gone, and the morning has dawned, time in my small heart has ceased, I must swallow my pride, be a beautiful bride for a man who is simply a beast. I cannot forget the love that I felt, for a man who was out of my dreams, I try to stop crying, I try to keep calm, but my grief is expressed in my screams. I do not know why, the fates are so cruel, I have lost all control, with no choice, I cannot be with the man that I love, my heart will feel no more rejoice." (Ben Goode's Poetry 2011)
Part 3. The King/ The beast.
"A woman, a Princess, a Queen to be, is crying now in my chambers, I am the King, the man of the land, and not just a common land stranger. I am left to wonder why, she would rather die, than be my queen, my beautiful bride. I need to have a whole kingdom, someone loyal to stand by my side. I had a Knight at my table, a Knight I thought, I knew well, he has stolen her heart with his glance. His soul will indeed burn in hell. The next time I see him, will not be so pleasant, an arena will be his last chance. I will show my Queen who really loves her, as I will have his head on a lance.
