Christmas Memories In The Park

Christmas In The Park
Decades ago Memories flow when I was a Child
Christmas had come on cold winters nite a walk in the City Park
There in the Center stood The Highest and Greatest Tree of all.
As Small I was seemed bigger than all the tallest buildings all decked in huge colorful lights blinking in zinc they did shine
Oh how I recall the freshness in the cold air the Smell of the Christmas Tree we knew Santa was near
So many people around this Glorious Tree Singing Carols of Old from long ago
It's been decades past fourty or so mom and dad are gone now but memories still know
I remember thinking although was very cold I didn't want to go
This was the biggest tree I had ever seen.. In that park at night just before Christmas this night was that special time memories were made
I can still see the glorious and splender in my little mind now a story to tell..
How This Christmas season was meant to be .. freshness and sounds of joy in all types of voices young and old gathered together around the great tree
Laughter and sley rides bells ringing oh it was very Cold but no care the warmth of this night in the park was enough for me the excitement keep me warm inside
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night
To those whom the years now are past we look to see the the twinkles of heavens bright stars in memories of those..
Merry Christmas To all and to all May your Christmas forever be as a Child's Memory... And a Blessed New Year
