Colorful Money

What makes life so interesting, are the characters that line it's walls. From grandparents who love their grandchildren, to aging citizens with no hope to carry on. In any given park, the variety and shades of people coming and going, showcases bankers, responsible kids and the like, yet the untold stories can still find thier way into our hearts in the most unusual of ways.
A retired banker and grandmother took her grandson to the bank she once worked, and helped him open up a savings account. When completed, she one by one, introduced him to the staff that would more then likely greet him with his deposits. The little fella was excited to have his very own account that the color of the account booklet was on power with the smiles that greeted him with patients.
A few days later the little boy was in the bank with a 500 euro note to deposit. He handed the money to the teller, who checked it and then double checked it, for it was unusual for a 500 euro note to be passed around so freely and for a child it was even more so. But because the child was the son of the retired banker who once worked there, no one took notice and allowed it to stand seeing it was no fake note. Handing the boy his receipt, he filed out the bank with a smile. The next week about the same time the boy was once again in the same line to deposit his money, and again another 500 euro note. This kept going, until the boy had massed a fortune and to the surprise of everyone. For not even the grandmother who had worked there, ever had so much money in any of her accounts and she was a banker for over some 30 years.
A news reporter showed up at the boys school wanting to do a story on the boy, turns out that the boy was picking up 500 euro notes from in the park from an old man who was throwing his money away systemically. The little boy's grandmother was called to the school, and arrived frustrated and horror struck. Never has such a seen been witness before and her grandson smack dead in the middle of it all. By time the story got out good, the old man had lost his wife, and the money he had spent a life time building and saving was to him for nod. So he took out 500 euros in one bill at a time...and went to the park and feed the pigeons along with the bread he threw out. But no one else picked up the large bill because the color of the money was unfamiliar to anyone so they passed it by thinking it a prank. But the colorful money was just what the boy needed to pick it up and dash off to the bank to deposit it. The old man was delighted that the little boy showed interest in the money, then the old man threw it out around the time the little boy showed up.
When the man all but depleted his account, there on the park bench, he suffered a heart attack, after he had made his drop and the boy had already made his deposit. When the boy showed up a week later looking for the elderly man, and there were no answers, a reporter looking for answers of his own, was pointed to the little boy who picked up colorful money from the stranger every week. When the face of the boy and the face of the old man was seen on the news, and the people found just how real the money was, faces and frustration collided, as ignorance made mock of grown ups. It took a little boy with a taste for colorful money, to mass the fortune of an elderly man, too through with life without love...nj
