Finding Your Soul

As the man died he stared into his killers eyes taking his soul with him. With his last breath, a memory of what his father told him stuck in his mind. "If you ever take a mans life, be sure to not look into his eyes. The eyes are the gateway to the soul and the only key to unlock it is death." He was never able to take another mans life, in fact, this is the reason for his death. As he stared in to his killers eyes, he wondered if this would work. With his last breath he kept his eyes open, staring at himself.
