The Fluffynoggin Family Reunion

Newtonious J. Fluffynoggin was excited. Tomorrow was her family reunion. All of her family would be there. On her mother’s side Great-grandma Evelyn is bringing her sisters; Great-aunts Janice, Marlene and Ethel. Newton will see her Great-uncle Philip, Great-great aunts Pearl and Elaine, especially grandma Nancy.
On her dad’s side there will be all her uncles; Rick, Victor, Roger, Timothy, and aunt Loretta. At the Fluffynoggin Reunion, there would be Weasels, Ferrets, Gophers, Minks, & a Mongoose or two.
When they woke up in the morning, they were all to meet in the clearing, down by the big meadow. They all carried extra large picnic baskets full of summertime favorites. The families played games, talked, laughed and everyone ate a lot of food.
Newton played tag with her cousins. They took turns telling ghost stories, and she had a lot of fun with the cousins that she only say once a year! In the middle of the afternoon, they all sat back and took a nice long nap in the sun.
There were Weasels piled upon Ferrets, Minks snuggled together with Mongooses and all the Gophers went underground for their nap.
When they woke up from their nap, Uncle Tim & Uncle Victor had two big jars of fireflies to light up everything. All the aunties and Grandmas roasted up a bunch of caterpillars for everyone to snack on before they all headed back to their homes.
Then they all packed up their belongings, kissed each other good-bye and set off for home.
Daddy carried our stuff and Mommy carried Newton, who was fast asleep. They all had a l-o-n-g wonderful day, but when they got home, they were glad to snuggle back in their own beds.
