Flying Between Constellations

I looked out my window and I saw this creature coming my way.
"Get on my back. Let me push your mind to the limit." he said to me. I hesitated, but then I grabbed my sweater and climbed on his scaly back. We flew up and landed in everything of star dust. Suddenly, music began to devour my ears as I noticed two figures in the distance. The dragon flew closer, until we were only a few feet away.
"That, my dear, is the daughter of Cassiopeia with her rescuer." I sat there and watched them in awe. A beautiful vision dancing with such grace as they moved. Shining like a silver flame as she twirled. A precious moment of serenity. The song soon began to die as did their dance. Taking a bow, I saw Andromeda look my way and just for a moment I was hypotized by her golden eyes. Our connection broke when we heard a howl in the night.
The dragon spoke.
"Lupus must be awake. So let's carry on, my dear." He began to fly on wards, but I just kept looking backwards at Andromeda until she was too far from my sight. Turning back around, I saw a lion grazing in the sky. I looked at the dragon with concern.
"He's gentle and kind, like no other lion you've ever met. Leo?" The lion lifted his head, then he stood up and walked our way limping. That was when I noticed all of his scars.
He must have read my face, because he said, "My child, what you seen is not scars, but lessons learned. I was a ferocious beast that hunted the innocent, until a man of great strength changed me. I was put here as his trophy of great achievement, nothing more. So pay no attention to this old ugly, raggedy lion." His eyes were kind and true, leaving me feeling sympathic for the once ferocious lion. I got off the dragon's back and slowly walked towards Leo. Then I softly wrapped my arms around him, giving him a gentle hug.
I kissed his forehead and said, "You're beautiful to me." I returned to the back of the dragon.
"Be careful, Draco. I can see you are carrying precious cargo tonight." I smiled to the lion as we started to fly back into the night. We saw the sculptor chiseling the clouds as he softly wept. We witnessed the painter stroking his canvas with grace easing his pain. We heard another howl from Lupus as we came across a man and a woman.
"Take a bow, my dear. For they are the King and the Queen." I jumped off his back and bowed before them.
"You have seen her dance?" asked Cassiopeia. She was just as beautiful as her daughter.
"How did you know.?"
"I can see it in your eyes."
"Yes, a simple sight that found a way to enlighten my soul and renovate my vision." The Queen smiled, so did the King.
"Lesson learned then. That no matter how simple something may seem, it can find a way to remain and it can find a way to change even the most difficult blindness." I looked down as I thought about what the King had said to me. Then I bowed again, thanked them, and retrieved to the dragon's back. It wasn't too long before we came up to a pretty young girl who was busy making something in her hands.
"Pleasant night. Isn't it Draco?" She looked up from her hands and I fell into her eyes, Her outspoken eyes that told a story of sadness, happiness and everything in between. I was hypnotized, until I felt her gentle hand caress my arm.
"I made this for you. It's woven from Berenice's hair." Her hand was outstretched with a bracelet on the receiving end. I grabbed the bracelet and wrapped it around my wrist. I looked at her, she stood up and then began petting the dragon.
"Thank you. It's beautiful." The maiden looked up and gave me a smile.
"You're a child of the stars. Every time you look at the bracelet, just remember that we are up here. We may just be star stuff, but so are you, act like it and shine. Don't forget us, my child." She softly touched my cheek with her hand, then she turned her back and walked away. The dragon and I were in flight again, when I started to hear a tick tocking sound.
"Horologium is ticking. He represents time and is never ending, until he comes upon an individual." We continued on. Where I saw Ursa Major walking with Ursa Minor. Then I witnessed a trotting unicorn and finally, I saw Lupus howl for the last time to the moon. Something was in the distance, flying closer I could see it was a man.
"Orion. Orion." said Draco. The man looked our way and stopped what he was doing.
"You look thirsty, old friend. Here, have a drink from Crater." Orion pulled out a cup and let the dragon drink from it. He then handed me the cup and I took a sip as well.
"Thank you." Wiping my mouth I handed Crater back to Orion.
"Anything, my child." I looked at him, and he looked at me.
"We must be off." said Draco. Orion glanced at him, then back at me.
"Just remember that I come on call of my name. I will be there to protect you, my child. There was something about him that made it all so honest. I gave him a slight smile and quick nod of my head. I believed him, I trust him, is that foolish? Orion kissed me gently on my forehead, then he sent us on our way. Off again, we then stopped at a river.
"The river is called Eridanus. Go on, feel the never ending flow of Eridanus." The trickling of the water was a strange, but a beautiful melody. I knelt before it and slowly ran my fingers through the icy water. A soothing sensation began shooting up my arm, then it took over my whole body. It felt like that cooling feeling you endure in your mouth after experiencing something minty. But instead of feeling it in your mouth and throat, it feels as though it's inside your blood, bones and is crawling underneath your skin.
"What's happening, Draco?"
"Eridanus is cleaning your heart and renewing your mind. Just let go and let him do what he needs to do. You'll be okay, you'll be better then okay." My eyes grew weary as I found my myself fighting to stay awake.
But I kept hearing the dragon say, "Let go, my dear. Let go and rest your eyes." Finally, I gave in and starting falling over. I felt myself land on his back as he started to fly once more. My eyes then opened, looking around I could tell I was in my room again. Was it all just a dream? Was it all in my head? I looked down and there it was, the bracelet made of Berenice's hair wrapped around my wrist.
