Fractured World

In reality, she had decided the unthinkable which others had not taken lightly.
Judgement had entered a new faze and her choices had been for reasons they do not know.
It was a decision only for her to take into the unknown. Power had somehow divided civilization itself.
There remained no love in the demands where in reality nothing added up.
She had obsessed over it and at times doubted the obvious. She was at risk of  being an outcast
at the hands of society. There was a flaw in the system and there was no vacating the strong
beliefs that continued to torment her soul. How could she ignore that little voice inside her head which
rattled her every belief?
Trust had taken its toll. Immoral had reared its ugly head like a game with lost rules.
She was by no means going to allow herself to go further with their demands, where doubting her own 
health would eventually break her. She could no longer turn a blind eye to power, her views could not be ignored
for the things hidden under a carpet of manipulation.
She had once succumbed, became a part of their torment as she gave in to a demand,
like a sheep lined up behind others, awaiting the slaughter. 
That day could never be erased, but at least it ignited a strength in her that drove resistance 
from the pressure that aids in their agenda. 
Inhumane stands at its finest and the outcome of its insanity is yet to be known. Who will it be 
that continues to be swept away by its torrent? A trigger has been pulled  with no true reasoning 
in its wake.
 The mindfulness of others has been beaten down by non other than greed.
The process, unthinkable as their conquest continues to torture and shatter existence.
She had almost forgotten what it felt like to be free. It had now been replaced by unfamiliar ground, 
but then she could always hold on for hope as the she watched the sun dim its rays.
As she prepares herself to step into another chapter, she will be a stranger to herself as she lingers 
the boundaries, of a fractured world.
