Glow

I'm Glow, and I 'm a firefly, most people know me as a lightning bug.
I lived under the forest floor in the under brush. I started out as an
Fire fly egg, and I glowed then to. As I grew from a Pupa to an adult
in only three to four weeks. I fed on plant pollen, and nectar.
I grew up strong and flying everywhere in the forest. I really like the rainy 
season. I am one of many Firefly's in our world, there are thousands of 
species of Firefly's. 
 I love lighting the night forest up, because when all the Firefly's come
together we sparkle the trees with a twinkle of light.
I can see the whole night sky as I'm flying way up high.
I love to look at the stars, because it brighten's up my light.
I sometimes land on the tallest tree, just to look at the twinkle in the sky
wishing that all the Firefly's before me, was happy as me.
  Firefly's have a short lifespan, so my time here is not long.
I will find a mate and create a new little life of a Firefly so he 
or she can keep the night forest shinning so bright.
I am not sure how long I have, but the time spent here has been grand.
 Remember to look out at night and you might find a Firefly twinkling 
in the night.
