The Good Life

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Leslie who wanted to live the good life.  However, she had no idea what that really meant.  She thought that everything she wanted in life would just come her way effortlessly.  The girl wanted a father figure because she didn't grow up around her DAD.  This was very difficult for Leslie to accept because she needed to know that her DAD loved her.

Leslie knew that she wanted to live the good life.  She wanted to get married young have three kids and a white house with a picket fence.  She believed that fulfilling this fantasy would make her happy.  Wow!  Leslie was in for a rude awakening.  She did manage to get married and have three beautiful children but she never got the white house with the picket fence.  Unfortunately, Leslie got a divorced after four years of marriage

Leslie desired to pursue a career in the health care field.  She sought for employment at North shore Terrace nursing home.  She was employed for six months until her employment was terminated with North Shore Terrace.  Leslie learned a lot about the health care field and decided that it wasn't for her.  Leslie realized that she needed a career or a good paying job to support her family.  She eventually found a career in food service making a sufficient amount of income and she is very grateful.

Leslie didn't gain everything that she hoped for in life but she can still be happy because happiness comes from within.  It took Leslie forty one years to learn this awesome life lesson.  She continues to make progress and desires to raise three successful children.
