Gwen Shamblin - Prophetess of Fat Shaming RIP 5/29/21

Imagine a Barbie Doll, with giant coiffed blonde hair, cloned with Tammy Faye Baker, and you get Gwen Shamblin.  Shamblin became famous in the 1980’s for creating “Christian Dieting.”   It came to  her as she watched a documentary of the Holocaust and thought,  “These people look skinny because they ate less food than those not in barbed wire concentration camps with gun, German Shepherds and Nazi Guards.

She became wealthy by writing the Christian Dieting Book and putting on workshops on how to lose weight to Mega Churches around the country.  In fact,  she could even become more wealthy by creating a church,  giving her a “ministry”  that could not be taxed.

She shamed people who gained weight saying they needed more faith in God.  In fact,  her husband who became husky HAD to be divorced.  She married a new guy who played Tarzan in a movie,  and had that look,  “the faith” to keep off those sinful pounds.

Her Church,   the Remnant Church, in Brentwood Tennessee,  in addition to fat-shaming those struggling with their weight, also supported child rearing that was considered “child abuse” by the state.  One of the congregant children, was beaten to death by a parent in 2003,  because he was considered a soldier for the devil.

She believed bad things happening to a Christian was a sign God was punishing them for some sin.  I guess she had never read the book,  “Bad Things Happen to Good People.”  Did Jesus sin to be hanged on the cross?

On May 29th of 2021,  Gwen Shamblin,  her husband Tarzan and three other members of the church leadership died in a small plane crash into the J. Percy Priest Lake.   What caused such punishment from God?  Greed?  Arrogance?  Shaming Victims?  Child Abuse? 

I think God took the plane down “punishing”  Shamblin and crew for the sin of flying to a M.A.G.A. rally in Florida with President Trump,  who tried to steal his second term via a coup.

Both Shamblin,  and Donald Trump have coiffed blond cotton candy hair.
