Hazy July Day

July 20th, 2021

Tuesday is the wife's day off.  We run errands. We drive to Shoprite in Newton New Jersey and buy a Mr. Coffee Maker at the hardware store.  We celebrate the post-Covid by stopping by Wendy's and ordering two Four for $4.44 and enjoy the air conditioning of the franchise.

We drive home on Route 23 South,  and the mountains touching the horizon are blurry.

Bad eyes?  Do I need glasses?   There is humidity on this 82 degree day.

"Helen,  Does it seem blurry outside today?"
YES!

On the evening news,  the anchor of the news reports the wildfires from Oregon can be seen on government NASA satellites across the United States to the east coast.

Mystery solved.
