Ideas

"You don't write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say." - F. Scott Fitzgerald
When you are doing nothing in particular, an idea will come and smack you about the head, demanding to be written down and used. However, when you are forced to write something, whether it is for money, a grade or your own personal goal, ideas will suddenly be scurrying away from you, leaving you blank. When this occurs, what you need to do is gently capture as many ideas as possible and record them. Then begin sorting. Some ideas will be absolutely useless, and should be released. If you are lucky, one idea will give you everything you need, but often, you will have to create your own big idea, using small parts of many big ideas.
Take what you need, and release what you don't. (But try to remember the ideas you release, because they might become useful in the future.)
