The story of Riley Lynch

I Riley Thomas Lynch was born on the 24th of September 2007 at 6:19pm in Maidstone, Kent, England. My earliest memory is back when I was 1 ½, it was my first gymnastics lesson. I was so nervous, my Mum came out with me I started off with things like balancing on the beam and using ribbons and hola hops. A few years later when I was three my parents and I flew to Australia where they lived. Only months later, on the 31st of 12/10 my little sister Ava Grace Lynch was born. I remember walking in with my grandparents to see a little baby girl, my dad helped me hold her, I was so excited to be an older brother. The next year my grandad had a stroke and ended up in a nursing home. Only two years later he passed away the same year I had started school at the age of six.
When I was eight I competed in my first gymnastics competition at Warrick. I was so nervous but at the end I placed ninth overall and was excited to do this well at my first competition. At the end of the season on my 9th birthday I competed at the Queensland state championships, sadly I came 48th out of sixty. The next year at school I made it into the high-jump finals, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. That same year we got a dog called Chevy who I bonded with straight away. Once again, I made it to states, and came second on floor. And still to this day I train to eventually make the Olympics.
