"VIA YOU" BY: Anthony Mendez, Page 3

Take over the work place-
The monotony of hard work with no guarantee of success can be overwhelming at times. To add to your plate, life throws you curve balls in the form of setbacks every now and then.
Gene Wilder once said, â itâs nothing but rejection, and maybe four or five get percent  get past that, survive it, emotionally, âCause itâs really rough. You can make a living with commercials, doing TV now and everything butâŚWhen you start out its rejection after rejection and unless you want it so badly that you continue on anyway, youâre not gonna make it. Itâs crazy; itâs something nutty in you that are driving, a driving force.â
Steve Jobs (founder of Apple) mentioned that passion in your field is essential for success. I wonât waste your time explaining his contribution to the world; because chances are youâre reading this very book on one of his many devices right now. Need I say more? Towards the end of Steveâs life he proved this passion point to the extreme. Despite his terminal cancer, it was evident that work was still his priority. In an attempt to conserve energy, Steve implemented a vegan diet. The theory was exactly this: reserve energy. The less his body had to digest, the more energy reserves he would save for working. Now, I donât know about you but, thatâs pretty fucking insane!
âPeople say you have to have a lot of passion for what youâre doing and itâs totally true. And the reason is because itâs so hard that if you donât, any rational person would give up.â â Steve Jobs
