My friend and I

Hello my friends my story i am about to share with you happened to my friend and I, .We were young children at the time when this event occurred. My story begins on a typical summer day, my friend and I lived in a beautiful little town nestled in a hidden valley, surrounded by wondrous hills and beautiful trees. I remember being so excited I could hardly wait to see my friend who lived across town from me, My friend lived in a wondrous place with the hills in they're back yard. I might add my friend also was in walking distance to the lake which was near by. On this particular visit we both decided we would play in my friends big back yard ,with beautiful lush green grass clear blue skies while I digging in the gravel underneath the swings set with my pail and shovel ,I loved the outdoors we both were outdoor kids , I began to realize my friend had gone some were so i got up to see were my friend was , to my curiosity and intrigue I saw my friend who was just standing perfectly still , wide eyed amazement I wondered what was going on, why was my friend standing frozen like a statue , I went over to were my friend was, a puzzled look I realized my friend was staring at something , what could it be so I followed my friends gaze into the direction were my friend was staring at, then I too saw it, we both stood very still not saying a word ,there in the sky was a bright light brighter than the sun , it was moving it made no sound as it slowly glided across the sky it was very strange but we both stood there and our eyes would not budge from the sight of it we watched it head towards the hilltops as it slowly sank out of sight. the next thing I remember was we both headed up the hill in search of what ever it was hoping to find it . Sadly we didn't find what ever it was that we saw in the sky that day but we did come across a lot of Saskatoon berries and three deers, I'm kind of glad we didn't come across it up in the hills who knows what would have happened ,so it still remains a mystery to this day. the end by lcarts
