IS NASHVILLE WRONG? New review

I am constantly submitting lyrics to Nashville for review. Here are the comments I received for the following song what do you think?
Lyrics:
SPIT AND GLUE
Got a T-top 86', running on a little TLC and she's falling apart
Got another Gal, means the world to me, running close to my heart
Getting older feeling the pains, ain't gonna be just another to complainĀ
Lucky to have you for whatever it is I go through
Been holding it together, with a little spit and glue
Spit and glue, spit and glue
Baby the worlds come apartĀ
Been holding her together with a little spit and glue
Family is gone, values are dead
Been swimming with the sharks in my head
Storm came in, blew this whole F'ing place apart
Carnival rides in the water, folks looking for a new start
But we'll ride them as we hold our breath, just takes two
Spit and glue, spit and glue
Honey the parts are broken
Been riding it out, thanks to
Some good old spit and glue
Review:Ā
"Spit and Glue": The title of this song sounds gross. The image that comes to mind is someone spitting into glue or something. It might sound silly but the images a song/title can muster are important. Just looking at the title makes me now want to hear this song. Once you start to see the lyric the title makes sense and isn't so bad however its the initial title that turns you off. Maybe " wing and a prayer" could work or another saying hat means the same thing.Ā
