Pebbles on life’s depression beach

Someone once described their own personal depression to me as a pebble placed in a jar. a single pebble representing some trouble past or present, an event a chapter, or an occasion, in someone life a pain a  hurt to heal which if not dealt with stays with us and is a constant reminder that won’t go away and stays with you everywhere you go.
There are people who have collected pebbles a long time ago but are still walking around today clutching their jars so tightly to them, for fear someone will snatch them from them prise off the lid and reach down inside and try to take their precious pebbles out for everyone to see, but when does the depression monster start to take effect? When do we start to feel different?  The answer is when we pick our first pebble up as we go along our life our stifled feelings slowly rise to the surface like the start of a seedling which blossoms into a lovely bloom in a garden, but this will not result with pretty flowers in tubs and borders. This leaves behind a poison as a weed does in a garden of pretty flowers.
The only way to remove evidence of a weed is to uproot it get to the root and pull it out and make sure you take the steps so it doesn’t take over your garden of your life.
